Hello and welcome to the preview article of the 2010 Malaysian GP,

after we saw Michi winning the 3rd race of his career in Australia he goes into this race now as leader of the championship followed by Luka and Norbert.

After the first laps were done we have a similar picture of laptimes to the Australian GP which is Chris, who is yet pointless, just ahead of Michi followed by Jim and Luka. Started with high expectations and a lot of pressure Chris will be eager to score his maiden victory this season to stay in touch with the top of the leader board. Michi on the other hand will have to focus on finish his race and score as many points as possible, he already said Malaysia wasn't and isn't his territory. After a well deserved second place for Luka on the season opener he's now willed to do everything to stay on top of the list and maybe snap the lead from Michi, this will be the most interesting duell to watch this weekend. Right behind those 2 are Jim and Norbert, both topping the hotlap list at the moment, will be in hope to finish ahead of the yet championship leading drivers and so maybe take essential points for later in the season.

In the team championship Ferrari is travelling to this race as leading team with 25 points chased by a strong McLaren team who are just 1 point behind. With another DNF of Chris Setzer there might be a leader change on sunday evening as both McLaren drivers appeared very strong in Malaysia and motivated aswell. A secret favourite for the title is Torro Rosso with the drivers Manousakis and Parisis who have been strong all testings yet and are expected to surely have a word on the title this season. The end of the top 4 teams is the Volvo F1 team which consists of Ari Pantsar and Luka Oslakovic who are just on 4th position at the moment with 18 points. After Luka finishing on a strong second place it's just Ari who has to score big this weekend so the team gets in hitting distance for the big positions.

We are expecting a fantastic race full of tension and we hope to see on track sunday evening.
